ANIMAL SILHOUETTES
I had not done silhouettes before Allison contacted me, but this is the beauty of my job — I get to try new and exciting things every time I create a pillow.
Allison and Barry are having an outdoor wedding in Maine at the beginning of August. They will use Dahlias from the local Dahlia Farm. There’s no specific wedding color or theme, just letting nature set the tone… I love their organic thinking. Allison made a request for the possibility to include Bucks and Daisy (their two very special Golden Retrievers). After looking at photos of their lovelies, I found some great profiles to use as the silhouettes. The color palette was inspired by the save-the-date card: creamy sorbet tones of sand, flesh, peaches, butter, ivory, sage and avocado.
