BLACK AND ELEGANT
Happy 3 Kings day!
Hope your holiday season was wonderful and smooth.
Here’s a beautiful piece designed for the lovely couple, Kate and Fred. It has ranunculus and poppies with vintage embellishment with a little bit of glitter. The save-the-date card was the inspiration for the design. I love how the pinks and reds look against the black ground.

I am so excited to share this fabulous wedding of the very talented photographer Tiffany and her sweetie Kirk (both are nature lovers and really into all kinds of cool activities such as surfing, snowboarding and camping).
The couple met at a ski resort outside Las Vegas while snowboarding, and so I guess you could say they came full circle when they returned to that exact location to make their...

DOILY AND ROSES
I love my job. I have the chance to chat with brides and hear all about their fun and beautiful ideas and all the things girls fuss about for their big day. I especially enjoy reading about their romance stories and proposals. The story I’m posting today is a sweet and interesting one. I remember sharing it with my husband one evening and thinking when love is meant to be, it is. Read...

DECORATIVE PILLOW
I had the great chance to create a decorative pillow for a Dallas home. The decor in the house is primarily white, red, black, brown and burnt orange. My client wanted a field of flowers, so the pillow has about 33 flowers, including: ranunculus, roses, poppies, zinnias, and daisies. There are two tones used for each color mentioned above, which gives the pillow depth and character. ...

SOUTHERN LIVING MAGAZINE
Many thanks to the nice ladies at Southern Living magazine for the press. And a very special thanks to stylist Anne Turner Carroll for thinking of me for her table decorating project. I made these party flags in shades of blues, reds and whites to go with a 4th of July table setting — just another great way to use these festive little triangles!

BRIDES NEW YORK
Here’s a nice Spring/Summer press from Brides NY.
This pillow was created for a story about wedding elements inspired by children’s books. The pillow was based on Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. The story is about a woman who spreads lupine seeds around her town to make it more beautiful, so the editors wanted those flowers to play a prominent role in the design in a ...
LOST IN TRANSLATION
Hola!
I’m so thrilled about the latest issue of the Japanese magazine LEE which features a story about my work. I just love everything...

CATS AND FLOWERS
I am a fan of Anna Bond’s sweet drawings so when the opportunity came to create a pillow inspired by one of her works, I was delighted!
This was the wedding of Alison and Chris which took place at Happy Days Lodge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula, Ohio. The bride wore a vintage looking tea length dress with ivy lace over a champagne colored crinoline. The flowers were...

HYDRANGEA AND DAHLIAS
Hello!
Another great color combination I worked with last fall for Lauren and Eric’s wedding. The couple was married in Rhinebeck, NY at The Rhinecliff Hotel, an old and recently renovated hotel located right on the Hudson river overlooking the other side of NY and lots of trees. The wedding was casual and romantic. The center pieces were blue hydrangeas and orange dahlias. The bouquet...

FLOWER BOUQUET
Oh, this was such an exciting project. My first flower bouquet and wrist corsages for Beth and Liam’s wedding in Canada. Beth is a very creative person. She did most of the work herself and also relied on friends and family to give her a hand.

INITIAL PILLOW
Hi there!
I had the opportunity to work with this exquisite palette for a wedding in August.
